2014 Time capsule


We plan to go to the site tonight to bury a time capsule under our house. Last night, we filled a time capsule with small things/mementos of the year 2014, such as a gold coin, my son's bakugan (lol), unpaired earring and a family picture with our names. It would be cool if somebody finds it 100 years from now.

      Thanks! The ground was wet due to the rain so I really don't know how long our capsule is going to last. But we had to do it last night because they will be pouring concrete today.

    I love this idea! So creative. My sister wanted us to do handprints in concrete but DH was totally against it. Our foundation is down ... but now you've got my wheels turning...

      Handprints in concrete sounds pretty neat too! DH actually suggested putting coins (money) in the concrete to attract good fortune and prosperity (so we will always have money somewhere lol). Still thinking of ways to put our stamp in the house so if you come up with any other ideas, maybe you could share with us :)
